Again, I see one side maturely stating their protest about how they feel about a sequel coming out too soon, etc. And the otherside raging and throwing a tantrum because the people for the boycott would dare question Valve and not want to buy an updated version of L4D less then a year after the original came out.
So which side is acting immature and throwing the hissy fit? At least people have stop using the PS3 fanboy argument.
Do you feel better now? Spoken like a true console fanboy. Clearly we can't have an adult conversation without people like you spewing the same old angry nonsense. Keep buying your Madden, Rockband/GH, and MLB/NBA games every year like a good little boy. The gaming companies banks on it. ;)
"who says that your L4D copy isn't pirated aswell? plus I don't really reeeeeeeeeaally give a damn about what you think :)"
On that same note, why do you think we give a damn what you think?
Well said! Bubbles for you.
It was a lame publicity stunt by EA. Other then that, I have a hard time caring about this story. People in the USA need to stop being so offended by everything.
Ahhh...ewwww?!? Keep it in your pants...a little too much information, thank you!
I'm sure she was forced to do this...?
Spoken like a true trancendentalist. ;)
Whenever I read articles like this I can't help think about the great quote from the Simpsons.
"What about the children?! Won't somebody please think of the children!?"
All those who say "if you don't like it, don't buy it." I think that's what the petitioners are saying, but why not tell Valve why exactly they aren't going to purchase it? That's the great thing about freedom of speech.
Yeah what an annoy fanbase!! I can't believe that these gamers are unhappy about something and are actually voicing their opinion. They should just STFU and let Valve (and other companies) walk all over them. Did you ever wonder why companies are able to release a Madden, COD, GH and Rockstar game every year? Maybe because console gamers never complained and bought the game every year like good droids.
Does anyone heard what the sale price will be for this?
Big Babies?!? Who's the one doing all of the shouting?
I have to believe that most of the people complaining are PC Gamers since they have the most to lose if a new version comes out (spliting the community, less dlc, mods, etc). But I'm sure that of the PC gamers out there, they have a brother/cousin/nephew that is a PS3 fanboy who is forcing them to sign the petition. /sarcasm
BTW- All those who say "if you don't like it, don't buy it." I think that's what the petitioners are saying, but why not tell Valve why exactly...
Is it just me or is anyone else more excited about WK than FF13?
Well it is a M rated game.
To me, this story shows the different mentality between console and PC gamers. Where console gamers have a history of buying new versions for the same game year after year. PC gamers are used to buying a game and nurturing it for many years through community mods and updates from the developer.
The arguement that sports games come out every year or the new MGS versions doesn't hold water, because until this gen of consoles, you couldn't have updates to the said game. So there ...

I thought it would be cool to play the 1st Silent Hill late one night with all the lights out. I reached the school and had to stop, cause it freaked me out too much. For the rest of the game, I played it during the afternoon.
Hmmm...this sounds suspiciously like a rational discussion. The kiddies must not be out of bed yet. Prepare for some yelling and screaming. ;)
